Jodi Sturgill

Jodi has her Business Administration Diploma from Sprott Shaw Community College.

As a member of the Victoria Fish & Game Protective Association, Jodi was the newsletter editor for 15 years. She has also produced the the BC Black Powder Association newsletter for the past 12 years. In 2013, she received an award from the BC Wildlife Association for the Best Club Newsletter for over 300 + members in BC. Jodi has plenty professional work experience, including owning her own Lotto Booth!

She previously lived in Horseshoe Bay until 1979, and then moved to Parksville with her parents and siblings. She raised her four children in Parksville and then in 2001 moved to the Sidney/Victoria area where she met her current husband. She has 5 grandchildren who she enjoys spending time with, in addition to other family members, friends, and her elderly parents who live up island.

In her spare time she enjoys reading books, knitting, painting rocks with the Sidney to Sooke Rock Group, and ceramics. Her and her husband shoot Black Powder Rifles/pistols and are involved in Mountain Man Rendezvous with their Malahat Marauders Group, and they additionally do re-enactments with the Victoria Esquimalt Military Re-enactors Association at Fort Rodd Hill, The BC Aviation Museum, and other locations.
